for me I took it as being automatic qualification when Mrs PD bought me a copy of "The Portable Curmudgeon" for Xmas.
A great read by the way.  (How's that for self validation)

Hey up, Blue Therapy. Nice name - are you known by an older one we might recognise?
C'est fort possible, mon cher canada.

I like the word curmudgeon, as it implies something a bit less nasty than a mean old bastard while still retaining the sense that you have little patience for fools, dimwits, knobheads, juvenile style-copiers, agenda-driven bores, and many other lesser forms of human life, and that, under the crustiness there may sometimes be released a softer side or even a smile. :)
Excellent, sounds just what's required out there.  Long live the curmudgeonly club.

I have it on good authority that canada knew Mozart as a lad, so we'd better watch what we say about him. Mind you, canada used to tease him unmercifully; calling him "Wolfie Mad Mo" or even "Maddie" when he donned his wig - Mozart that is; not canada. It has also been proven that this teasing was the inspiration for the Falco song "Rock Me Amadeus" from the '80's.

You'd be surprised what they can find in the hall of records these days. Some things don't make it to Google.

What, biblically, Bongo? If so, who was the lad?I mean I knew Canada was ooooooold, but.......

As regards unknown songs, google seems to have the lot. They've got Mark Wynter "Kickin up the leaves" and Jess Conrad "mystery girl" the first two I bought, and they were complete shite.

I shall retain a dignified silence as these mongrel curs snap at my heels.

( My autobiography - Amadeus and I: the Great Libidinous Years - is due out from Oxford University Press sometime soon, with newly discovered erotic pen drawings.)
