Ronaldinho
« on: 06 April 2008, 01:58:51 AM »

I've always thought he was a half decent footballer after seeing him at the opening game at Eastlands.  Although his hairstyle does not come anywhere near the short back and sides category, I will let him off as I did with Barry Silkman. So come on Frank, show us your money and let's fill the stadium!

Well, reports today are suggesting that Ronaldinho's move to AC Milan is off and that City and Spurs are in for him.

Brazil superstar Ronaldinho is being hawked round the Premier League after a potential move to AC Milan collapsed yesterday - with Tottenham and Manchester City now in the leading pack.

The World Cup winner was World Player of the Year two years ago and the most sought-after player in Europe.

But City and Spurs have now both been sounded out about bringing him to England next season.

Barcelona are set to dump him this summer because of his party lifestyle, lack of form and injury problems which kept him out of last night's Champions League semi-final 0-0 draw against Manchester United.

Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra has now hired super-agent Pini Zahavi to broker a deal for as little as £7million.

But Reports in the Mirror suggested Spurs are also considering a bid, and a White Hart Lane official has flown out to Spain to meet with Ronaldinho's representatives.

Spuds can 'ave him. A great player but NOT suited to the Prem. WIll have his moments but will cause huge unrest in those tossers' dressing room by what will be his most likely outlandish wage demands (not to mind the "demands" of the London clubbing scene).  Then Spurs will take their rightful place in 12th for many seasons and we can all go home.

Can't happen soon enough for me. Shower of c****. Not that I'm bitter...

It must piss you off that you weren't there as we beat them 5-0 in the late 70s to help relegate them. Happy days.

I've said it before, my hatred for that shower, though it is with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns, still pales alongside the unbridled vitriol that Tragic has for them.

Trag would have them in the Unibond League imoh... ;D
