Can we not, for once, have a day that goes well from start to finish?
Apparently fecking not. The occasional derby apart, it seems we're not to be blessed with such a thing.

Yesterday the players had two opportunities to repay the fans for their support.
The first was the match the second was the stroll round the pitch after the game.
Obviously they weren't going to do it during the game, that would be too much to expect, and if they expect fans to hang around more than a few minutes after that piss-poor surrender then they are living in cloud cuckoo land.
The only reason all that fucking about happened after the final whistle was to keep fans in the ground, but the fans aren't that stupid so most of them pissed off home.
At the final whistle the players should have gathered near the tunnel then gone straight into the "lap of thanks" passing the North Stand first. By the time they reached the South Stand the deluded (if they think they're staying up) Fulham players would have gone and our lap could be completed.
As I said on another site, had Sven and the players been sacked at full time I wouldn't have batted an eyelid. And neither, I suspect, would they.

Agree with paul, great game, thoroughly enjoyed.Burst out laughing when their goal went in. What a "typical City moment. All the comments about the twats who stopped running are totally correct. It was mainly Corluca, Elano, and Ball. Thinking you could defend a two goal lead with that defense was the height of stupidity and arrogance. But there is one of Sven's weaknesses. He doesn't believe in frightening the players, though the top four managers do.I was very disappointed with the crowd fecking off, so much for supporting Sven. But feck me what a disgraceful shambles of a post game effort. All it needed at full time was a quick announcement sayind shame about the result but please stay and show your support for Sven and the team.Who organised it, Tyrell. If so, thanks mate. Now feck off.

Hehe, I just rembered this post from Saturday (or was it Sunday ?).

Little did we know what was coming next, you have to laugh, I know its not funny really but you still have to laugh.

I thought this year that first Spurs, and then Newcastle had wrestled our grip away from being the laughing stock, but then there was losing to the balloons in the FA Cup, the Fulham game, both of which seem trivial compared to Sven being fired, very very slowly.

Both of them are just pretenders, not even close to having the title. Wait till Micah goes to the ra.....oops better not.

We did our best....and don't forget a valiant effort from the original glory hunters XI

Sadly I think City not having the friends in the media are in for a similar kicking that we got, open season on all things MCFC and f@ck the facts. I hope I'm wrong.

Thing is if TS manages to appoint another big hitter and releases the funds for players all will be forgiven. If he follows what might be called the Freddy Shepherd model of big talk, before having to go for second/third class options then things may not be pretty....

Congrats on showing great restraint, Billy. I dont expect that in your shoes I would be so generous. Your owner and manager now look like a match made in heaven, even allowing for Kev's gibberish, lol.
