John Fogerty
« on: 03 June 2009, 12:47:54 AM »

Is Fogerty worth paying $50-odd to go and see/hear these days? He's in town soon. I would have gone 10 years ago but anyone know if he still produces the goods? Or should I watch a DVD of some fave movie like The Longest Day seeing the date of D-Day is very close? Of such choices are small lives made.

The man's a legemd. Go and see him. Get out of the house and have a good time.
Don't know how his voice is nowadays but if it's half as good as it was it'll be well worth it.

John has 4 riffs which he recycles endlessly. But he's the best in the world at it.And he enjoys what he does. Go see but buy Blue Moon Swamp first, if you aint already. My favourite, Walking in a Hurricane"

Turns out I can't go anyway. Off to Ontario for next week to see my granddaughter and some friends. I guess there's a bad moon on the rise. But thanks for the advice - glad Fogerty's still OK.
