The World Cup
« on: 11 June 2010, 06:38:39 PM »

Oh my giddy aunt, what the hell is that horrendous noise in the background, and will we have to endure that throughout the tournament?  It is gross and awful.
The SA goal was brilliant though, fair play.

Bloody vuvuzelas - big no need! It's not atmosphere, it's noise. They'd better not appear in the Prem next season.

I know we have to get into the spirit of it all etc, blah de bloody blah, but it's killing the atmosphere.  Let's just hope any English fans who've travelled out there can drown it out with some good old Vindaloo chanting!  Talking of which - is there a decent England song this WC - I've not heard any.
I wish Back Home could be re-issued - now THAT was fab.
I'm a dinosaur.  :-\

It was never on my list. The problem is, of course, that the muppet will take it to away games as well (although not to CoMS, in the league at any rate, to my great satisfaction - I was delighted when they went down).

I hope they get banned from CoMS. I hope they get banned from the Prem. Actually, I hope they get banned from British football. Bloody awful things - let them keep them in SA. Anybody blowing one of those feckers near me next season will get it firmly inserted where the sun don't shine.

Arf! Thanks, forgot all about that. It wasn't lucky though!

Mind you, it wasn't lucky first time round when Weebl did it for Euro 2004! I note he's released a new version with added vuvuzelas:

Here's the original:

I think we'd have done better with a team of badgohs than the plonkers we actually put out.
