He looks pretty damn good on the YouTube compilation I was looking at today. And we need someone like him to prevent Tevez having to come too deep to get the ball. I fear this might be the end for Ireland, which saddens me, as I think he's a really fine player who's been unlucky with the new manager and with his own fragile and immature temperament (like Robinho he seems very immature and his game needs an emotional boost constantly. Ireland and Elano played some lovely stuff together.) Anyway, Silva is welcome (I'd have preferred Villa!), Ya Ya too, and Boateng, though the last two don't overwhelm me, but Milner I'm just not sure about. Much effort but I'm still unsure about his skill levels.

No clue about Silva either. If he's as good as the knowalls say then he will be good.

As for Milner, well like Barry, I'd be considerably underwhelmed, if we want to win the title this season (and that would be my target if I was Mansour as there will hardly be a better chance) we'll need to look beyond very average english players in my opinion, and lets face it, there are quite a few very average english players (a couple of them we already own), which is why they are back in England while the mighty Ghana are still in SA.

Very good signing, should give us that creative spark we lacked last season. Can play pretty much anywhere across the middle and in the hole behind a striker. It doesn't look like Bert is kidding around with the players he's going for...a side to play the good stuff but when called upon dish it out!

Young Stephen will have to make some big decisions now, I hope he sorts himself out because I'd like to see him do well for us. However, we need the Stephen that won rave reviews not the pale imitation that we've seen all too often.
