City in the Community grants
« on: 15 August 2010, 10:36:30 AM »

Mrs Badger supports a charity in Cheshire called the Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT). They provide holidays and activities for terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the Northwest. They've been shortlisted for a grant from City in the Community, but they are up against some bigger, better known charities and are looking for support. Mrs Badger tells me they do great work, so I'm looking to drum up support for them.

There's an online vote on the City website, and it would be great if as many people as possible could vote for them - here's the link:
http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/City-in-the-community/2010/CITC-POLL Closing date is Thursday 19th August.

There's a bit more info about the trust on that page, or if you're interested, CAFT's website can be found here:

Cheers

Mick

Yay indeed. There are a several charities that will benefit, I'm pleased for all of them, and it's good to see City supporting this kind of thing.  :)
