As for the match, not too worried, up against a very decent side away who haven't lost or conceded a goal yet this season, we were the better team for half an hour.

Really? So who did BMG beat at the Alianz Arena on the opening day of the season? TSV 1860 were away that weekend and aren't even in the same division.

My error then, I missed that one. My main point, if factually incorrect, is that we were up against a good side who were probably favourites on the night anyway. Great reaction against Blackburn, not the most taxing opposition perhaps but how many teams lose the weekend league match after an away game in the Champs league?

Tevez - via an interpreter - "defends his actions" but is now flying off to Argentina tomorrow since the inquiry team won't need to speak to him again. Still totally committed then - to himself. I think City have handled this well so far but the final judgement will be interesting. Is it in City's interests to sack him and let a rival (perhaps) snap him up on a free?

Probably will never happen, no one in their right mind is going to play into his hands like that. Cut price sale in Jan, perhaps with a "can't play against City" clause (if you can do that)

Interesting comments on Sky sports tonight. He's still claiming he was misinterpreted (learn the bloody language then), and is now saying he refused to warm up because "he wasn't feeling well and his head wasn't in the right place" but was ready to play if needed. Contradiction in terms or what? That's a bit like Lewis Hamilton refusing to start the engine but saying he would drive if required.

He is also claiming there is no problem now with wanting to leave as he has persuaded his family to come and live in Manchester. Everything points to him realising he has dropped a major bollox and is trying to redeem himself. Sad really, he could maybe come back and play out of his skin to make amends but I think the damage is done - City might look 'weak' if they concede to that though, and I'm with the manager 100%. He's the one we really want to hang on to IMO.

How about he can come back if he changes his agent to one City approve of and makes a public promise not to act like a dick for the remainder of his contract?

Obviously. we wouldn't want him to be mis-translated again would we?  8)

The Club has been conducting an investigation into the events of 27 September at the Allianz Arena.

The Club has now reached a stage in its investigation where it has concluded that there is a case for Carlos Tevez to answer of alleged breaches of contract.

Accordingly, the Club has informed him that he will face disciplinary proceedings and the hearing will be convened shortly.
Carlos will be required to report to Roberto Mancini for training on Thursday.

By the book. But I suppose that reporting to Bobby for training doesn't necessarily mean him training with the team for Villa.

God I hope not. And he'd better not be training with the EDS or Academy either. I reckon a nice few months in the Gulf training alone is what our aesthetically-challenged Argentine needs.

As well as an agricultural kick up the hole.

What he needs is an operation to fit him with a brain more powerful than an educationally sub-normal tabby cat, which is what he appears to have - he wants an apology from Bert - what colour is the sky on Planet Tevez? However, in the absence of some futuristic sci-fi brain transplant I'd settle for him being transplanted out of the club in January, preferably to somewhere not in Europe with a big sell-on clause.

Good footballer, world class tit.

Apparently he turned up at Carrington all smiles and signing autographs (wonder how much he payed the autograph hunters) Then spent the day in physio (BBCR5)
